- High-Capacity Dense Phase Operation – 40 TPH: A dense phase pressure conveying system was provided to transfer PET chips in a controlled manner. The system operates in a continuous mode of conveying from production to silos.
- Air Management System: To support this, Indpro supplied a compressed air management station that regulates and optimizes air usage, ensuring stable conveying conditions and energy-efficient operation while minimizing material degradation.
- Off-Spec Material Storage Silo: Indpro provided multiple off-spec storage silos designed to hold PET chips of varying quality grades. This arrangement enables systematic segregation of material, allowing the plant to select specific batches for controlled blending. The structured storage approach ensures better process control and eliminates the risk of random mixing, thereby supporting consistent final product quality.
- Controlled Discharge via High-Pressure Rotary Airlock Valves: Each off-spec silo is equipped with high-pressure rotary airlock valves to ensure uniform and controlled material discharge. These valves maintain an effective pressure seal between the silo and the dense phase conveying system, enabling stable operation while preventing pressure fluctuations and ensuring consistent feeding into the pneumatic conveying process.
- Precision Weighing & Batching System: Indpro integrated a high-accuracy weighing and batching system to measure off-spec PET chips before conveying. This system ensures precise dosing of material as per the required blending ratio, forming the backbone of the transit blending process. The accurate batching guarantees repeatability and consistency in the final blended product.
- Precise Dense Phase Batching Operation – 2 & 3 TPH: A dense phase pressure conveying system was provided to transfer various grades of PET chips together in a controlled manner. The system operates in a continuous mode of conveying.
- SS304 Conveying Pipeline - Gentle Material Transfer: Indpro engineered and supplied SS304 conveying pipelines designed for smooth and contamination-free transport of PET chips. The optimized pipeline layout, combined with a superior internal surface finish, minimizes friction, reduces pressure drop, and ensures gentle handling of the material throughout the conveying process.
- Routing via High-Pressure Diverter Valves: To provide operational flexibility, multiple high-pressure diverter valves were used within the conveying network. These valves enable seamless routing of material from any selected off-spec silo to the desired on-spec silo without interrupting system operation, ensuring efficient and flexible plant performance.
- On-Spec Silos - Final Storage and Blending Destination: Multiple on-spec storage silos were installed where the blended material is stored. This ensures uniform integration of off-spec PET chips into the main product stream, delivering consistent and quality-compliant output.
- PLC-Based Automation & Centralized Control: A PLC-based automation system with MCC integration was supplied to control blowers, rotary valves, diverter valves, de-dusting equipment and more. The automated sequencing ensures safe start-up and shutdown, interlocking of critical equipment, alarm management, and centralized monitoring through HMI—significantly reducing manual intervention while improving operational reliability.
