SlitMaster Pierce - Automatic Bag Cutting Machine

High-Speed. Fully Automated. Zero Manual Bag Handling.

The SlitMaster – Pierce is Indpro’s most advanced automatic bag emptying solution—built specifically for high-volume industrial operations that demand speed, precision, and no manual intervention.

Designed to handle 25 kg plastic bags stacked on pallets, the Pierce model can process up to 800 bags per hour or around 15 pallets per hour—making it ideal for fast-paced environments where efficiency and speed are top priorities.

Here’s how it works: A pallet of bags is simply placed on a roller conveyor, which feeds it into the machine automatically. A smart mechanical gripper pierces its prongs into five bags or a layer at a time and transfers them to the slitting station. Each bag is sliced thoroughly from the bottom, allowing the pellets to discharge directly into a collection hopper. From there, the product is conveyed downstream using pneumatic systems— maintaining cleanliness and without spillage.

Once the material is discharged, the bags are automatically transferred to a compactor, eliminating any need for manual waste handling.

Sequence of Operation

1.Bag Loading

Pallets of bulk bags (typically 25–50 kg) are placed onto the roller conveyor. This allows for bulk feeding and minimizes manual intervention.

2.Pallet Transfer to Pickup Zone

The roller conveyor automatically moves the pallet into the bag pickup area, positioning it precisely for the next operation.

3. Bag Transfer to Slitting Station

The lifted bags are carried to the bag slitting section, where they are positioned for slitting & Each bag is sliced thoroughly from the bottom.

4.Bag Pickup & Handling

A set of mechanical pickup hooks engages and lifts five bags at a time from the pallet. This automated gripping mechanism secure handling of multiple bags in one cycle.

5.Automated Bag Piercing

The bags are pierced from the bottom using fixed rotating blade, allowing the material to flow downward into the enclosed discharge chamber.

6. Material Conveying

The discharged material is directed into the downstream process include mechanical or pneumatic conveying , or direct-to-process systems.

7. Empty Bag Compaction

After complete discharge, the empty bags are automatically transferred to the bag compactor where they are compressed for easy disposal

Automatic Bag Slitting Machines FAQ's

SlitMaster – Pierce is designed to handle 25 kg plastic bags, made typically of HDPE or LLDPE.

This model can process up to 800 bags per hour or approximately 15 pallets per hour, depending on the pallet stack type and loading efficiency.

SlitMaster – Pierce is a fully automatic system. Pallet loading onto the roller conveyor must be done using a forklift. All subsequent processes for bag emptying and empty bag compaction are automated—eliminating the need for manual handling.

The machine is designed for granular materials, such as plastic pellets, resins, food grains, chemicals granules, and similar free-flowing substances.

After discharging, empty bags are automatically transferred to a bag compactor, which compresses them into a polyethylene collection bag for easy disposal or recycling.

Absolutely. SlitMaster – Pierce is easily compatible with downstream equipment like pneumatic conveying lines for smooth material transfer.
