The SlitMaster – Slice is a compact, enclosed automatic bag slitting machine designed specifically for handling powders, granules, and flakes from 10 – 50 kg paper or plastic bags. Built for batch operations in industries like food, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals, Slice combines hygiene, performance, and safety into one efficient solution.

With a throughput capacity of 180 bags per hour (3 bags per minute), Slice automates the bag emptying process while ensuring minimal contamination, low dust emission, and maximum recovery of valuable raw materials.

This model features an integrated infeed conveyor, bag cleaning system, inspection window, dust extraction system, vibrating sieve and a robust discharge system—all packaged in a fully enclosed design that’s ideal for indoor installations where cleanliness and safety are critical.

Sequence of Operation

1.Bag Loading

Operators place sealed bags on the roller conveyor platform. No cutting or manual lifting is required.

2.Bag Cleaner

The bag surface gets cleaned mechanically to ensure no surface contaminants get mixed with the product during emptying.

3.Bag Transfer

The conveyor system delivers bags directly into the sealed slitting chamber, streamlining flow and eliminating the need for manual handling.

4. Precision Slitting

Inside the chamber, precision blades cut each bag from the center to three sides, ensuring a clean and complete opening.

5. Dust Control

Airborne dust is immediately captured by the built-in dust extraction unit which pulses the powder cakes back into the powder discharge.

6. Vibrating Sieve

The oscillating mesh takes care of segregating oversize impurities and ensuring only desirable powder goes through.

7. Material Discharge

The Material discharges into the hopper for transfer via mechanical conveying, pneumatic conveying , or direct-to-process systems.

8. Empty Bag Compaction

The empty bags are transferred into a screw compactor that pushes them into a polyethylene bag which must be periodically replaced.
